Psychologist Clark Sim spoke at our February meeting, about Schema Therapy

It was a very interesting meeting last Tuesday. We learnt what Schema therapy is, what techniques of other psychiatric therapies it is derived from, a comparison of Schema therapy with DBT, and how Schema therapy works.

Clark sent these slides to give those who weren’t at the meeting some understanding about it and also those of us who were there and couldn’t write fast enough to get his points down, a reminder about it all.

The only down side is that similar to many of the other therapies, it takes at least a year of therapy before there is a change and of course it is not covered by Medicare.

Clark Sim works at Human Psychology. His contact details for anyone who would like to find out more, are Phone 1300 277 924 and email csim@humanpsychology.com.au
