Our speaker was Stephanie Mitchell from HUMANE Clinic.

She is a psychotherapist and co-director of the clinic. HUMANE Clinic’s website defines “Humane” as marked by tenderness, compassion and a disposition to kindly treat others. I like that. A good philosophy for life. HUMANE Clinic has values very similar to those spoken about in Family Connections and what we have often spoken about in our Sanctuary meetings:- listening without judgment, listening with compassion, listening without giving advice etc. The HUMANE clinic provides an alternative to diagnosis led approaches.
